Box Score Muskegon, Mich – The 7^th ranked GRCC Raider volleyball team falls to #8 Muskegon Community College 1-3 ending an 11-game win streak.  The Raiders, now 8-1 in MCCAA West play and 22-4 overall, fall to second place in the MCCAA West one game behind Muskegon.

Muskegon, now 10-1 in conference play and 25-4 overall, extends their win streak to 6 and will likely see their stock rise in the NJCAA DII poll this upcoming Wednesday.

Brandie Jones led Muskegon's offensive attack with 18 kills while adding 21 digs. 

Elyse Ray recorded 14 kills and three blocks while Beka German added 13 kills with 20 digs.

Amber Carmen led the Jayhawks' defensively with 26 digs.

Setter Meghan Birr offered 53 assists, one ace and four kills to edge out the Raiders.

Freshman Shelby Ruffner led GRCC offensively with 12 kills on 27 total attempts.  Emily Johnson and Abbie Gortsema followed with 11 kills each while adding 5 blocks together.

Johnson led GRCC in digs with 22.  Katlyn Agren recorded 20 digs adding 7 kills on the night.

The Raiders host Kalamazoo Valley and Jackson this upcoming Monday and Tuesday with both games scheduled to start at 6:30 PM.
