The GRCC men’s tennis team won their final tune-up match before they embark on their trip south by defeating Adrian College 9-0.
Demetrios Buck and
Tim Hiskes both recorded wins in the singles lineup at #5 & #6 respectively. The Rockford duo of
Keith Lannon and
Andrew Amante triumphed in singles (#1 & #4) and doubles (#2 & #3) with both players yielding a total of only 3 games for the day. Lannon played doubles with
Casey Feenstra and Amante paired with
Clayton Hodge.
Ben Esh-Nauta and
Matt Jackson anchored the Raiders’ doubles lineup by winning 8-3 at #1 doubles.
Next up for the Raiders is Saturday, March 3rd against the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky and then 6 matches in 5 days on Hilton Head Island including the USC Lancaster Lancers, who finished 23rd in the nation at the NJCAA DI national tournament last May.
