Grand Rapids- MI – GRCC evened out their season with a 76-63 win over Aquinas College JV last night following Saturday’s tight loss against the returning national champion Bears of Mott Community College.

Leading the Raiders in scoring against the Saints was freshman Chris Mickey who finished the night with 17 points.  He added four rebounds, two assists and one steal in the outing before he was forced out of the game following a head to head collision with an Aquinas player.  Both players were forced to leave the game due to injury.

Newcomers Alex Mustert and Kevin Badger scored 10 each.  Mustert added 7 rebounds and 3 blocks to his stats in the mere 13 minutes he spent on the floor.  Badger also lead the team in assists with 6 and recorded 5 steals on the night.

Daryl White contributed with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and six steals while Justin Klein and Phillip Hansen each scored six points in just over 20 total minutes on the floor.

Next up for the Raiders are the Warriors of Indiana Tech.
