Toledo, OH—GRCC’s Raider volleyball team bests #6 Illinois Central Community College in five—25-19, 14-25, 25-15, 24-26, 15-11. The Raiders win against the Cougars was delivered by the precise setting of Kaitlyn Wolters.  Wolters set the ball brilliantly for her teammates, but Kelsey Darling capitalized the most. Darling led the Raiders in kills while middle blocker Molly Maynard dominated the middle with outstanding blocking and a daunting offensive presence.

So far this weekend at the Owens Invitational the #15 ranked Raiders have defeated #1 Johnson County CC, NJCAA Division 1 John A. Logan College and now #6 Illinois Central College. Next up for the Raiders is a tough #10 ranked Parkland College.
