Muskegon, MI-- The Raiders dropped a close one to the Muskegon CC Jayhawks on Thursday. Muskegon came out victorious in an extremely close match, and defeated GRCC by a total of 3-2. The loss is only the third of the season for GRCC, who sit at number 5 in the NJCAA rankings poll.

Despite the loss the team has still performed exceptionally during the 2011-12 season. The girls have a 12-3 overall record, and a 3-1 record in coference play. They are currently ranked second in the MCCAA Western Conference. Muskegon, who are currently undefeated in conference play, sit at the number one slot.

The Raiders will regroup and host three home games this week. On Monday they host Kellogg, Tuesday Ancilla visits, and on Thursday they will face off against Jackson Community College at the Gerald R. Ford Fieldhouse. All games will be held in the Gordon Hunsberger Arena at 6:30 PM.
