Grand Rapids, MI— GRCC’s Anthony Alarcon pitched very well in the first game allowing five hits in the Raiders 9-1 victory over the Mott Community College Bears. Jason Hockemeyer led the team batting going 3 for 4 with two RBIs.
In the second game the Raiders lost their momentum eventually losing 2-5. David Frederick pitched 5 and 1/3 innings giving up five runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts. Eric Musselman pitched the remainder of the game giving up two hits and no runs with two strikeouts. Leading the team in batting for Mott was Jacob Richardson who went 3 for 4 with a double, a triple and 3 RBI.
The Raiders, 19-7 in conference, play next at Henry Ford Community College at 2:00PM.
