Returning from last season's 7th place season where she earned NJCAA Region XII All-Tournament Team honors, Geelhoed came out swinging while facing some of the NJCAA Division II's best teams.  In four matches, Geelhoed racked up 2 solo blocks, 6 block assists and  26 kills--currently the 28th most in the NJCAA--while playing in 11 sets in Lansing Community College's Tournament of the Stars.

Geelhoed's early contributions to her teams success this year are a great start to what the team expects from her in 2012.  During the 2011 season, Geelhoed played 135 sets and was GRCC fourth highest in total kills on the year with 248 and second in total blocks with 115.

Geelhoed is a 2011 Graduate of Lowell High School in Lowell, Michigan.
