Deshawn Byrd, an unsung hero of the highly successful 2010 Raiders football team, is set to return to GRCC for his sophomore season. Byrd was a member of the offensive line that ranked first in the nation in total offense last season. Deshawn displayed superior ability both on the field and off. Academically he earned a 3.0 for the 2010-11 school year.
