Sophomore RHP Sam Traver remains in the Student-Athlete Spotlight after a very successful sophomore season.  Traver finished the 16-17 campaign with a 7-3 record and a 2.31 ERA after pitching 63.2 innings allowing just 21 earned runs while striking out 84 batters.  Traver was named the Western Conference Player of the Year as well as being named a member of the All-Region XII, All-MCCAA and All-Western Conference First Teams.

Traver finished the 2016 season at 7-3 with a 2.25 ERA.
