Sophomore Guard Mike Spicer, son of first year head coach Mike Spicer Sr, earns Student Athlete Spotlight honors this week as one of the team's scoring leaders after five games thus far in 2015.  Spicer's 12.8 ppg average is the team's second highest behind freshman Myles Ervin.  In addition to his 12.8 ppg contribution Spicer is .500 from the field while recording 7 steals and 11 assists on the year.  The Raiders will look to his leadership as they move closer to conference play in 2016.
