Rechy Rodriguez, a 5-5 freshman from Grand Rapids Union High School, completed his first season as a member of the Raider Cross Country team.  Rodriguez hopes to earn a degree at GVSU in physical therapy or athletic training after his tenure at GRCC is up.  He has been an athlete his entire life having played soccer since he was very young and hopes to joing the GVSU soccer club upon transferring.  When not on the course Rodriguez enjoys trying new foods--although Mexican food is still his favorite--listening to music, and staying focused on his education.  He considers his parents his heroes stating, "they are wise and give good advice."

Look out for Rechy in 2015 when he returns to the Raiders for his sophomore season.
